A cast iron welding platform,also called a welding surface plate with T-slot,is an indispensable high-precision benchmark workbench for industrial welding operations,serving for workpiece positioning,clamping,welding forming and post-weld inspection.It is widely applied in machinery manufacturing,engineering machinery,pressure vessel,steel structure and auto parts production fields.
Premium platforms are made of high-strength gray cast iron HT250(HT200-HT300 series),with a working surface hardness of HB170-240.Through 600-700℃artificial annealing(8-12h heat preservation and slow cooling)plus secondary aging treatment,the internal stress is completely eliminated,ensuring outstanding thermal stability and anti-deformation performance,which can withstand repeated high-temperature impacts during welding.
The working surface is processed with standard T-slots and slag discharge holes.T-slots match T-bolts and press plates to fix irregular workpieces quickly and firmly.The bottom adopts a reinforced grid/well-type rib structure to enhance overall rigidity and load-bearing capacity.The side is equipped with grounding bolt holes to prevent static electricity interference and ensure welding safety and quality.
Accuracy levels are divided into Grade 0,1,2,3 and finish-planed grade.Grade 2 and 3 are suitable for general welding,while Grade 0 and 1 meet high-precision welding and inspection needs.Regular cleaning,anti-rust maintenance and avoiding heavy impact can significantly extend its service life,making it a cost-effective and durable core equipment in the welding workshop.
