The Precision Cast Iron Platform is an indispensable foundational benchmark tool in precision manufacturing, inspection, and assembly fields, designed to deliver ultra-stable and flat reference surfaces for critical industrial operations.
Crafted from premium high-strength gray cast iron HT200/HT250, it undergoes rigorous casting, double aging treatment (artificial annealing at 550–600°C plus long-term natural aging), precision milling, and manual scraping. This elaborate process completely eliminates internal casting stress, ensuring long-term dimensional stability without deformation. The working surface reaches a hardness of HB170–240, with 00/0/1/2 precision grades available; 00-grade models feature a flatness error within 0.02mm/m, ideal for metrology labs.
Its box-type reinforced rib structure provides exceptional rigidity and load-bearing capacity, while the graphite structure of cast iron offers superior vibration absorption—damping performance 6–10 times that of steel—guaranteeing accurate measurements even in high-vibration workshops. Common configurations include plain surfaces or standardized T-slots, enabling quick clamping of workpieces and seamless integration with coordinate measuring machines, dial indicators, and other precision instruments.
Widely applied in machinery manufacturing, automotive component testing, aerospace assembly, and tool calibration, it outperforms granite platforms in heavy-load scenarios and surpasses steel platforms in vibration resistance and cost-effectiveness. With minimal maintenance needs and repairable working surfaces, it serves as a long-lasting, reliable cornerstone for industrial quality control, significantly boosting production efficiency and product precision.
