The material selection is tailored to the frame’s working conditions:grey cast iron(HT250,HT300,HT350)is widely used for general machine tool frames,thanks to its outstanding vibration damping,machinability,and cost-effectiveness.For heavy-duty,high-precision frames,ductile iron(QT500-7,QT600-3)or low alloy cast steel is adopted to enhance toughness and anti-deformation capacity.The manufacturing process adopts resin sand casting for complex frame structures,with strict control over melting temperature,inoculation treatment,and sequential pouring to eliminate internal defects.Artificial aging treatment is essential to reduce residual stress and ensure long-term dimensional stability.
